Nominados al Grammy 2013

Fun., Frank Ocean, Jay-Z, Kanye West y Dan Auerbach  lideran la lista de nominaciones

La banda indie-pop Fun. y el cantante y rapero Frank Ocean dominaron las categorías principales durante el anuncio este miércoles de los nominados para los premios Grammy 2013.

Fun. fue nominada para Record of the Year y Song of the Year por escribir y producir el sencillo ‘We Are Young’, que interpretan junto a la cantante Janelle Monae. La banda también fue nominada en la categoría Album of the Year por ‘Some Nights’, así como en la prestigiosa categoría de Best New Artist.

Ocean también recibió nominaciones al Grammy Best New Artist, Record of the Year y Album of the Year por su colección debut ‘Channel Orange’.

Fun. y Ocean estuvieron entre los varios artistas que recibieron seis nominaciones, junto a la banda británica folk-rock Mumford and Sons, los veteranos raperos Jay-Z y Kanye West, y Dan Auerbach de The Black Keys, quien fue nominado tanto por su trabajo en su dúo rock The Black Keys (banda que recibió cinco nominaciones) y por producir álbumes de otros artistas.

El artista R&B Miguel recibió cinco nominaciones; Rihanna, Hunter Hayes, Gotye, Kelly Clarkson y Bruce Springsteen tres cada uno. Maroon 5 y Coldplay otras dos por cabeza, mientras que Nicki Minaj, Chris Brown, Miranda Lambert , Carly Rae Jepsen  y Ed Sheeran obtuvieron una sola nominación.

En las categorías latinas y tropicales, quedaron nominados Ricardo Arjona, Fonseca, Kany Garcia, Jesse y Joy, Juanes por Best Latin Pop Album; Campo, Carla Morrison, Quetzal, Sistema Bomb y Ana Tijoux por Best Latin Rock, Urban Or Alternative Album y por Raúl Lara y Sus Soneros, Eddie Montalvo, Marlow Rosado Y La Riqueña y Romeo Santos por Best Tropical Latin Album.

Por su parte, la popular banda One Direction no recibió ninguna nominación, junto a Justin Bieber, Lionel Richie, Lana Del Rey, Madonna, Scotty McCreery, Bob Dylan, Dave Matthews Band, Green Day, Neil Young, Emile Sande, Jason Mraz, Ellie Goulding, Norah Jones, Leonard Cohen, Train, the Wanted y Psy, que tampoco recibieron nominaciones en ninguna categoría.

La vigésima quinta entrega de los premios Grammy está programada para el 10 de febrero de 2013 en Los Ángeles.
